What is a Beauty Mark?
Beauty is widely defined as the aesthetic quality of certain objects, which makes these objects pleasant to see. These objects may be natural, human or artistic in nature. Beauty, along with beauty, is perhaps the most important area of art, among the various branches of aesthetics. It is also one of the oldest.
Aesthetics can be studied as the study of beauty in its relations to knowledge, society and culture. Beauty has different meanings for different people. For some it may be societal acceptance, others may consider it as the result of one’s individualism and personal sensibility. Beauty for many may consist of physical factors, but there is also a social dimension to the beauty that is often forgotten in our daily lives.
This is where social media come into play. Social media, such as blogs, websites and social networking sites like Facebook allow us to share the beauty with each other. This sharing allows us to take beauty for granted, when in fact it is something that we should cherish and appreciate. We should not forget the beauty of mother nature, of natural environments, the beauty of flowers and the many other natural creations around us. Thus, it is important to note that beauty is subjective, and depends on our perceptions and opinions of beauty.
While we can certainly agree to beauty as an aesthetic value, we can’t deny that there are some practical considerations as well. Many times beauty has been considered as an indicator of how healthy a person is. Thus, it was once said that the more beautiful a woman was, the healthier she would be. Nowadays, the beauty industry has taken this one aspect and given it its own term, ‘dazzle’. Dazzle is derived from the French word ‘daise’, which means ‘beauty’.
Many people have commented that they don’t see beauty marks on their body for the reason that they are so ugly. However, beauty marks can appear anywhere on the body and may even be present on one’s face. Therefore, beauty marks can appear on different parts of the body at different ages.
If one feels that they have developed these beauty marks, they should definitely consult a physician to get them removed. A dermatologist may be consulted, or one could also go to a spa that specializes in removing unsightly beauty marks. The advantage of going to a spa for the purpose of getting rid of a beauty mark, is that one gets to select one’s own remedies. These may include: mud, clay and/or pumice.
